Kobo has unusually long battery life?
I use my e-reader very intermittently because I don't always have the time to read these days. The last time I charged my e-reader was a couple of months ago. During this time it's powered off but I've used it every now and then, and it still has around 90+ battery. After I used wifi to browse the online store maybe it dropped down to 93 or so. Is it really that long of a battery life, or is it because I haven't used it so much that the battery is out of sync?

I've been struck by what seems to be particularly long battery life with my H2O, also. Even though it's my go-to reader, getting tethered to my laptop occasionally so I can sideload my most recent acquisitions and library books seems to be sufficient to keep it in charge. This is unprecedented, in my experience.

I recently hooked up my H2O to a 10Ah battery USB brick when my H2O was down to 10% charge (which actually is much less). A full H2O charge only marginally changed the power brick meter display. Comparing this to a smartphone recharge or even a tablet, the H2O just nibbles here and then on its charge, at least for reading simple kepubs. As you are switching off your H2O you may save further on charge. However, starting your H2O anew will need quite some power during boot, so letting it sleep may be better if you read on a regular basis, such as every day or two.

Since you said powered off and not just sleeping, makes sense to me.
