100 - 10% for using Visa Checkout + 17 shipping to US. Comes out to 107 CAD which is roughly 80 USD.

If possible use a credit card with no foreign exchange transaction charges like Capital One.

The Kindle Paperwhite is also available for about the same price from Staples (100 - 25 for using Visa Checkout + tax). I have owned a couple of Kindles, decided to try the Kobo this time.

Chapters have extended the Visa Checkout 10% off promo by another day, through the end of November 27th (12 PM Pacific/3 AM Eastern), in case anyone was still considering this (or any other last minute Chapters Indigo shopping).
