Formating text from a website/forum topic?

My new Paperhite 3 arrives after few days (with special offers)
What do I lose if I do not register, only the collections?

How can I most easily formating (convert) text from a website or forum topics - without blank lines without tab every second row - for reading on Kindle? I've heard a plugin for Mozilla f.?!

I hope to announce jailbreak soon.

Tabs have no effect in ebooks. You can easily remove extra blank lines if the source is plain text, like you'd get from cut and paste. Just use a language with regular expressions, like Perl or Python. Something like s/\n\n/\n/g. Assuming the text is in one variable.

You seem to be asking multiple unrelated things, which would be better addressed in individual threads.

Questions about how to format a MOBI/AZW3 for a specific look are best addressed in our Kindle Formats subforum, not this one (which deals primarily with the devices themselves).

As for registering, mostly what you lose is collections (unless you are jailbroken).
You also lose inside-the-book Wikipedia lookups, IIRC.
