docx to epub loosing pictures

When converting a docx to epub all pictures is removed. Is there something that can be done about this?

ive included a rar with both the docx and epub file

The images in the docx have to be in png or jpeg format. Word drawings and metafile images are not supported.

they are in png and/or jpg do i need to convert the jpg to jpeg for it to work?

Mo, they are wmf files embedded in an OLE object. When you insert them into the docx file use insert picture not embed object.

well i tried everything i could think of with WordPad but couldent get it to work. so i downloaded openoffice and it worked on the first try
