Patched Together: A Story of My Story by the late Franciscan priest Brennan Manning (Wikipedia) is some sort of heartwarmingly inspirational literary fiction allegorical parable which seems mildly Bildungsroman-à-clef-ish, or at least loosely autobiographical in nature, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

For comparison purposes, we did receive his actual autobiography free not that long ago: All Is Grace: A Ragamuffin Memoir.
