Please help me make the send to device icon appear!
I'm using a brand-new windows laptop. Whenever I plug my Kindle fire into the laptop, it never registers in Calibre. Sometimes if I reboot the computer then reboot the Kindle it will magically appear, but not always. I've searched through the forums and tried the various suggestions I found but nothing works to get the device icon to consistently appear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Kindle is not blocked as a device within Calibre and it does appear on the laptop.

did you adjust your tool bars (when connected, specifically)?

Location Manager needs to be placed on the 'when connected' toolbar
