Smile Thank you - for a long prayed for feature

Kovid,

For the "Allow drag and drop of all file types onto the book details panel and ..." enhancement. I've yearned for this almost since the first day I used calibre.

The main reason I love this new feature is that I add a .ONE file to the dozen or more books I add every day. It's just a simple tick-a-box pro-forma checklist that lives on my desktop - serendipitously it's right under calibre's BD panel. In this instance DnD is much easier than Shift+A.

BTW : I can't see Whats New for 2.44 - cleared every browser known to this man (firefox, chrome, edge and IE) - can't see it on my phone either. So I went round the back and viewed on github. Anyone else experiencing this?

BR

I see the missing What's New is fixed but the launchpad links in there seem to be a bit off kilter
