Question Have lost the column for Formats in library view
In preferences/look and feel the column Formats is checked but it no longer appears in the library view. Formats does appear in the book details panel. Where did this column go and How do I get it back? Thanks

formats is NOT a standard column (it is a standard details)

If you see it in the Look and Feel: columns, it might have a # in front. that is a Custom column and needs some way to become populated

@beckyt - perhaps you hid the column, right click somewhere in the book list column headers and have a look in Show column flyout menu.

Or you lost the column, it's easy to get it back: Preferences->Add you own columns, click the + symbol, on the right, then click blue Formats, viz:

This will display the formats you have according to whats recorded in the database (approximate_formats). If you think there's a discrepancy between it, and what's actually in the book folder, then the Library Maintenance ->Check Library feature can be used to help resolve the issue.
