Help for a Newcomer

Hello,

being a member of this community since today, I face an unusual problem: I did not find out yet, how to download e-books. Could anybody enlighten me? Thank you very much (and I assure you, its not the alcohol!!)

Assuming you mean, 'download e-books from the MobileRead Library', just click on the 'E-Books' link in the blue bar under the MobileRead logo. Select the format you prefer under the Format Pop-up, and search for the book you want.

If you're in a life+70 (or less) country, you're free to download any of the books in the library. If you're elsewhere (e.g. the US), you'll need to check that the works are out of copyright where you live before downloading them.
