I tried to use calibre on win7-32bits.
I get the error:
Python function terminated unexpectedly
MemoryLoadLibrary() failed loading PyQt5\QtWidgets.pyd (Error Code: 1)

Something is preventing calibre from loading DLLs it needs, most likely a security program/antivirus of some sort.

The other possibility is that that DLL is corrupted, so try to repair the install or do a clean re-install
