Hello and Thank You
After reading books on various Palm devices over the years, I bought a Kindle. My local library allows Mobi downloads for 21 days, but doesn't support the Kindle. After a lot of google searches and experimenting - I now can read these library books on my Kindle. These books aren't "keepers" but are fun to read and will make the bus rides to and from work more pleasant.
The thank you is for the help I got from reading some of the posts on this site. I then searched for the files and experimented. What finally worked for me was to: post content modified on Amazon's request A lot of work to read a library ebook, but handy since the library has a good selection of ebooks to read. I pieced most of this together using threads from this site, so thank you for your comments.
