I bought it 2 months ago from Asia at about US$1200. Hardly use it for anything except to check emails.

Does the screen fold down over the keyboard? How long does the battery last?

Thanks for posting.

Yes, the screen does fold down over the keyboard like a conventional laptop. It swivels and can be folded back down with the screen side up.

Battery lasts about 2 to 2.5hrs.

Btw, the RAM can be upgraded to 2GB.

Wow, if you paid that much for a Kohjinsha you got ripped off pretty hard! Kohjinshas tend to run in the $450-650 range here in Japan right now and if you pick up the Yahoo Internet package it's only $150-300. I think the most expensive I've seen was only $850. It looks like they put English Vista on it, did they throw in a US keyboard replacement too?

I thought about picking one up myself, but wanted something a little bit larger in the screen real estate. Though I do hope you get your money back out of it.

In fact kabatek is still selling it for $999 on ebay, excluding shipping.
