New Plugin to add metadata to Audio & Video Files

I would like to hire someone to write a plugin for me that will allow Calibre to search for metadata, covers, etc. for audio and video files, just as the program does for ebooks. I am willing to pay a reasonable fee for this.

Hi,

I think this is a great idea!!

I noticed there is a plugin that started doing this. The last comment from the developer was he is waiting for epub3 to be completed. He thought it is possible that the need for his plugin would go away since epub3 is a container. I wish he was continuing to update his plugin.

@woodr2011 - primarily this is a user support forum, not a developer forum. So it's probably not the best place to be looking for a developer.

Have you considered contacting a local school/college/university and asking if/how you might a hire a bright young thing to give them some work experience.
