PE problem, not starting up but backlit LCD
I bought a PE with wrong battery. It worked with charger plugged.
Unfortunatly, I accidently unplugged charger while powered on. Since then I just get a backilt LCD but nothing else... no dots indicating initialising on LCD and no reaction at all on E-Ink side. I've been trying 2 days long all update.zip files available on this forum (complete 1.3, Dingo 1.6, Ermine 2.2, AllmineRC3, Allmine universal, etc)... none works (no dots, nothing but backlit on LCD and no reaction on E-Ink side). I tried serial cable method, using Termite 3.2 and Dingo 1.6 (and many other update.zip files too. You can see a Word copy of this Terminal log attached (Dingo 1.6 in this example). Any attempt finishes with NOTHING. Guess it is good for garbage unless I missed something.
