I'd suggest Calibre for managing your ebooks. There are probably other solutions but none that I've found that offer Calibre's mix of convenience and power.

There is a wiki Kobo Shelves and Collections and it's ancestral sticky for shelf management Quick Guide to Shelf Management with calibre 0.9.1 & above.

It sounds like you prefer to not use Calibre for whatever reason. But I'm also guessing that you're relying on Kobo to keep your paid books safe for you, that you don't have copies saved on your computer anywhere?

If that's the case, there's no way I would trust any store to keep my books forever for me, not even Amazon or Kobo, and I have a copy of every one I bought (including freebies offered) on my computer and backed up on other PCs and in the cloud.

And at that point if you're going to keep them safe on your computer, you might as well use Calibre to organize them, it'll save a lot of headaches and frustrations later.

While I am with the others about using calibre, if you just want a dump of what is on the device, it has a SQLite database you can query.

Taking "without using Calibre on PC" as a strict criterion not to be countermanded: you can do this using Calibre on a Mac or on a Linux machine.

If you don't want Calibre you can use AutoShelf, see https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=254554.
