Remove TOC entries in bulk ?.
I want to remove all TOC entries with < three entries from my books without having to laboriously manually edit each one, is this possible ?.

The quality check plug in has a field to check for TOC < 3, but I don't see a way to remove the TOC's from the listed books that it finds.

Calibre creates a TOC called 'Start' after a conversion if there is no TOC prior to a conversion.

How do I prevent Calibre from creating a TOC if there isn't one ?. I would prefer NO TOC to the pointless 'Start' TOC which it creates.

Not pointless, Many devices require the 'start reading' place be marked (they use that to skip the front matter and jump to the 'text' semantic. If you fail to set that place explicitly, calibre does it for you... At the beginning (first file)


BTW
The TOC tool can be used to Add/remove NCX entries in a book from the Library level. It will NOT remove inline (HTML) TOC

Under Output Options, there is an option "Do not add Table of Contents to book".
