calibre 2.37: Errors on saving after editing

After making some changes via the book editor and trying to save them, I suddenly got in the latest calibre version 2.27 the following error message:

TypeError: invalid result type from ProgressSpinner.sizeHint()

Details:
calibre, version 2.37.0
ERROR: Unhandled exception: TypeError:invalid result type from ProgressSpinner.sizeHint()

calibre 2.37 isfrozen: True is64bit: False
Windows-7-6.1.7601-SP1 Windows ('32bit', 'WindowsPE')
32bit process running on 64bit windows
('Windows', '7', '6.1.7601')
Python 2.7.9
Windows: ('7', '6.1.7601', 'SP1', 'Multiprocessor Free')
Successfully initialized third party plugins: Goodreads && Fantastic Fiction && Kobo Utilities && Find Duplicates && Quality Check
TypeError: invalid result type from ProgressSpinner.sizeHint()

Clicking 2x Ok (error msg appears twice) does however seems to correctly save the e-book which is not further corrupted.

Any thoughts?

To err is human.
And we all seem to become more and more human every day ...
