does someone know how/where to modify the "sleep" or "OFF" pages ?

May want to check out https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=255238 instead, even though it says it's for the H2O I believe it's been made to work on all Kobos now. Installation is as easy as manually updating the firmware, or applying any of Geoff's patches.

Or you could even try installing Kobo Start Menu, it allows you to do such modifications.
