Calibre Kindle settings.

Not really sure how to word this. I have a Kindle PW2, and I am getting a Kindle Voyage soon. I noticed in caliber setting output to Kindle paperwhite and also kindle voyage. What difference does this make to the books being send to the kindle from calibre. I am most concerned seeing I have both a paper white and will later in the week have the voyage. Do I need make sure and change calibre to make sure I am sending to the correct version of kindle.

That doesn't affect anything other than the default conversion output.

And conversion output profiles don't really have any meaningful effect except for setting the maximum supported image resolution on a device. If set to a lower resolution than the source images in an ebook, they will be downsized to save size.

As always, previously converted books have their settings saved, and the defaults only affect newly-converted books. Using Bulk Edit mode, you can clear previous conversion settings if needed.
