Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/ePub) Key Words of Christian Life [Xtian Theology Vocab Ref]

Key Words of Christian Life: Understanding and Applying their Meanings by Warren W. Wiersbe is his layman-friendly reference guide to specific theology-related vocabulary terms and concepts from the New Testament, as well as a bit of how-to on applying them to daily life, free courtesy of Christian publisher Baker Books.

I had a quick peek inside this, and while it's obviously kind of specialized and geared towards a specific kind of Gentle Reader, it does seem to lay everything out neatly with scriptural references to accompany the explanations, as well as anecdotal examples of what stuff is supposed to mean if it doesn't appear to be immediately obvious from the introductory remarks, so this may also be of interest to more secular types looking to have some idea of what their more believer type brethren and sistren mean when they say certain things in a cryptic way.

This has technically previously been offered free in mid-2014, but it doesn't seem to have gotten mentioned on MR (or maybe my search-fu is just terribad tonight), so I'm going to treat it as a new freebie for the purposes of the daily thread count because I'm in the middle of cataloguing my Region B import collection now that I finally have a Blu-Ray drive that works with my Mac, and the less stuff I have to do in-between, the faster it goes (or it would, if I didn't get distracted by popping in said BRs to watch in the meanwhile).

Currently free, probably just for one day @ B&N (may also drop in the UK), Amazon UK (slated to drop in the main store), Kobo & iTunes & Google Play (all available to Canadians), and ChristianBook (ADE-DRM ePub available worldwide).

Description
The biblical shorthand of theological language is useful for expressing complicated doctrines-but only for those who understand it. Key Words of the Christian Life de-mystifies words and concepts like "justification," "sanctification," and "adoption into the family of God" for lay readers.

Each chapter focuses on a New Testament word or phrase that has important implications for the believer's life and faith. Warren Wiersbe gives easy-to-grasp explanations of each word's theological meaning, along with practical application for the Christian life. Wiersbe's careful teaching will be invaluable to everyone from new believers to those looking for resources to teach others the powerful implications of key Bible words.
