Free (nook/Kindle/Kobo/iTunes) Claim [Xtian 1880s Family Migration Drama w/Romance]
Claim: A Novel of Colorado by Lisa T. Bergren is the 3rd and final novel in her Homeward Trilogy set of historical family saga drama novels with f/m romantic elements, this one focusing on the prodigal son, who returns after wandering around in an unsatisfying life to find potential contentment settling down on the new homestead with, possibly with a local schoolteacher, even as one last challenge faces his way, free for a limited time courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.
This has previously been offered free in 2013, and we've also received the 1st novel as a freebie as well. Currently free, probably just for the rest of the day @ B&N, Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), Kobo & iTunes & Google Play (all available to Canadians), ChristianBook (DRM-free ePub hypothetically available to selected countries if they ever get around to allowing downloads of the freebies again) and possibly other venues listed on the publisher's catalogue page Description Sent west by their father to make a new life, the St. Clair siblings have done so—but hardly as he’d wished. Beautiful, headstrong Moira, after pursuing a career on the Paris stage, has returned to Colorado Springs—older, wiser, and certainly much poorer—to see if there’s anything left of a relationship she’d left behind. Older sister Odessa and her husband, Bryce, are struggling to rebuild their ranch after a devastating winter. And then Nic, the prodigal son, turns up—broken, haunted, and sick about leaving his sisters. At last the family is reunited. But Dominic is still at loose ends, seeking a peace that has always eluded him. Only as he mines an old claim deep in the Rocky Mountains and begins a romance with a local schoolteacher does he begin to understand how passionately he is loved—by God, his family, and a good woman. But even as he relinquishes his fury, Nic discovers there is one last battle to fight… Last edited by ATDrake; 07-26-2017 at 03:07 PM. |
