iPad app to take note in ebook

I'm trying to find a way to take physical notes (written in margins etc not types) in an ebook. I know I've heard of this before but can't find anything.

Hi, do you mean handwritten notes? If your ebook is a PDF, there are many apps that will do this. Some of the best ones are PDF Expert and GoodReader. Here is a review of 5 of them: http://thesweetsetup.com/apps/best-p...r-editor-ipad/

Also, MarginNote allows you to highlight and annotate both PDF and epub books, and it does have a handwritten note feature, but I'm not sure how practical it is or if it would answer your needs. There is a free trial version on the app store, so you can judge for yourself.

The latest update of Google Books can automatically sync your notes to a Google Drive Doc. Has been pretty useful for me. Also love how it syncs your whole library in the cloud. Click image for larger version
