NY Times Recipe- weird glitch
This recipe requires a login and password. I've been running it forever, and had forgotten I changed my password, literally 5 months ago. Today it started failing, within the first 5 to 10 seconds. I reran it a couple of times, then read the details of the failure, which indicated the password was wrong!
It's not a big deal, as I've corrected the PW and it runs fine again. I just thought Kovid and the other authors of this recipe might find this data to be interesting. |

IIRC the nytimes for the longest time used a pure javascript based paywall, so you could actually browse it without logging in by simply turning off the javascript in your browser. They probably recently changed it to use proper server side authentication.
