Most books by Kahlil Gibran* (1883-1931) which were originally published from 1923 through 1963 are still copyrighted in the USA but should be in the Public Domain in life+70 countries.

Can I upload books by him to MR or will they be moved to the Offline forum?

Thanks for the clarification. I just wanted to double-check this, because, IIRC, mobileread.com is hosted by a server located in the USA.
