This may sound weird, but thank you for not saying "passed", which is far too mealy-mouthed for my taste. Is this a cultural difference? Just heard Alex Jones on BBC1 The One Show say that Jackie Collins had "passed", which I think is unusual phrasing here in the UK. Normally it is "passed away" or, simply, "died".

Never paid much attention to her books, but it seems from the old pictures now being presented that she was quite a "hottie" in her time. Some big names paid her a lot of attention.

So this is really one of those "wrote from experience!"

Her sister Joan was a very beautiful woman back in the day too. I haven't seen a recent picture. She did a playboy shoot once (Joan not Jackie).
