This novel has a cliff hanger ending, but as stated, the series is complete and everything is tied up at the end of book 4.

Actually, you were supposed to sign up for the newsletter to get the link to the page with the books on it. Bizzybody sort of short circuited that process.

Then again, the author gives away the first book anyways, and all of the short stories.

Edit: never mind. I found them at Smashwords. Apparently so far there are four parts.

Baen has been doing Free Library ebooks that way for 15 years.

I didn't know that, but then again it's been a long time since I bought anything there.

Much of what was on the Baen Free Library no longer is since their deal with amazon. The contents of all the pack-in CD-ROMs *except* the Cryoburn one remain free, but officially you can only download the full ISO disk images instead of individual book files.

Baen has been adding new free ebooks but still not as many as they used to have.
