Best and/or Favorite English Dictionary for Kindle?

The default New Oxford American dictionary that is automatically installed is pretty good for me on my Voyage. I was just wondering if anybody is using an English dictionary they feel is better. Thanks!

I'm using the pre-installed Oxford Dictionary of English.

Also depends on which country you're from, you can add custom dictionaries to your Kindle, for example I have the English-Hungarian dictionary which is also quite useful in certain cases.

For me, the Oxford Dictionary (for Brits, I think), is best for me, because I read a ton of British-written books. It has a lot of British colloquialisms in it, and that is very useful. Even though I am fairly familiar with Brit-speak, there are some authors that use fairly obscure terms.

I alternate between the Oxford and an edition of the Collins I bought in mobipocket format years ago. They both are good (the Collins also has a lot about British vs american) and on some rare occasions one has a word the other doesn't.

Does the Oxford have encyclopedic information about famous people and places? The Collins has them, which is great, especially since I'm neither American nor English and I'm often clueless about some of this stuff.

Everyone can add custom dictionaries; it's not restricted to people in certain countries.

I have both the Oxford Dictionary of English and The New Oxford American Dictionary on my Kindles.

I have the ODE set as the default, but am able to invoke TNOAD if I need it.

Webster's Learner's Dictionary is a good choice if you prefer detailed, easier explanations.

I usually use the Oxford American version but I always have the English version on board because I read more than a few British novels. However, both are so very good with their own and the over there version of English that I often forget to switch. I'm constantly surprised at how good they are.

That's not to say some other dictionaries might not be better. I've never been motivated to try another.
