MOBI catalogue of MOBI books on Kindle

Is there a way to create a hyperlinks catalogue for all the MOBI books on the Kindle? As I noticed, whatever I do, the file://mnt/us/... html anchors are not processed correctly.

I tried HTML file as .TXT and converted to .MOBI, viewed with the regular reader. HTML file as .HTML is not seen by the regular reader and cannot be accessed by the Internet browser.

You cannot link to a file on the file system from inside the reader firmware.

As for the HTML files, an HTML file with a .txt extension will show up as a book, and be rendered as HTML. The experimental browser is blocked from viewing files using the file:/// protocol, although the skipstone or midori browsers (KUAL hacks) can do so.
