Calibre 1.0 Amazon E-Mail Problem

Hi,
i tried to send a test Email to my Kindle and get the following Messages on my iMac:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/wizard/send_email.py", line 173, in test_email_settings
File "site-packages/calibre/utils/smtp.py", line 106, in sendmail
File "site-packages/calibre/utils/smtplib.py", line 307, in connect
IOError: [Errno 32] Broken pipe

Log:

It´s not only Gmail I get this error, I also will get with GMX and Hotmail
I do not know what I can do
On OSX 10.8.2 I don´t use any Firewall or anti-virus program

There have not been any changes to emailling in 1.0. That error message indicates that the connection used to send the error message is being killed somehow,either the email server is blocking the onnection or something on your computer/network is blocking it.

I know this is an old thread, but I just had this problem.

Try checking to make sure the email address you are sending from is an 'allowed' one in your Amazon preferences. If not add it to your allowed email addresses.
