Different menu depending on the library

Hi,

I don't know if this question has been answered before, I haven't been able to find an answer?

Is it possible to have different menus/toolbars depending on the calibre library?

I know you can have different columns and that affects the Metadata edit view.

Have you looked at the View Manager PI?

@Terisa de morgan - pretty certain you can't, as it would require configuration data to be selectively library specific. Something like the way resource overrides are handled, but for configuration data, would be cool

At one stage, I tried installing multiple library specific calibre portables - but I found it too cumbersome. Library switching is just too damn convenient

I use a different script for each library so I can have a config directory per library. The scripts set the CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY environment variable before running calibre.

@BetterRed, I was afraid it wasn't possible and I have the same feeling about switching libraries. @Chaley, thank you by the idea, but it's not practical for me because I can switch libraries a lot of a times in a calibre session, so I would have to be closing and opening.

@theducks, the View Manager PI doesn't allow it, I use it inside the libraries, but it's only column view.

Thank you all, I'll continue with an only menu.

I have not used it, I run a pretty basic native settings, Calibre UI (some of it has been rearanged
