Free (nook/Kindle) MBA Starter Kit: Options, Finances, Value [Business Student Guide]
MBA Starter Kit: Your Guide to Options, Finances and Value in a Master of Business Administration Degree in Chicago by the Chicago Tribune Staff is a collection of the newspapers' annual features on Exactly What It Says In The Title for prospective local-or-visiting students, free courtesy of publisher Agate's Digital imprint.
Technically, this has previously been offered free sometime in 2013, but it doesn't seem to be showing up on MR when I do a forum search, so I'm just going to treat it as a new offering for the purposes of the daily non-repeat thread count, since I had another medical procedure done a few days ago and don't feel up to digging in the slushpile or the backlog. And it's educational, sort of. ![]() Currently free, probably just until the weekend @ B&N (may also drop in the UK), Amazon (not available to Canadians, but also free in the UK), and directly @ the publisher's website (DRM-free PDF available worldwide). Description The Chicago Tribune's annual guide for prospective MBA students, MBA Starter Kit is the ultimate guide for anyone interested in pursuing a Master of Business Administration graduate degree. Covering the latest global hiring trends and salary outlooks, as well as the myriad opportunities afforded by an MBA, this book is a must-read for anyone who thinks they might be interested in an MBA. MBA Starter Kit, which comprises the Chicago Tribune's 2013 features and the best of the 2012 features from this annual special section, provides invaluable insight into the challenges currently facing MBA programs and students alike. Furthermore, it contains robust information on MBA programs throughout the Chicagoland area, both large and small. With popular Tribune columnists adding their own insight to this collection, it is almost essential reading for all business professionals looking to advance their career in the Chicago area. |
