Business startup owner looking to speak with devs

Forgive me if this is not the appropriate place for this thread, but I wanted to reach out to the developers of Calibre and this seemed like a good place to start.

I am working on a somewhat ambitious project that has a large emphasis on ebook/ereader functionality and I am dying to get in touch with some developers. I believe this to be a big opportunity for the Calibre software and the ereader/ebook scene, in general.

The details are confidential, so I won't be able to discuss anything on this thread, but I hope that some of you will see this and reach out to me. If anyone else knows a better way in which I can reach out to the developers then I would greatly appreciate any information you have.

Yep -- Kovid Goyal, the developer of calibre, hangs out in the calibre subforums, pretty much exclusively. He is the one you want to speak to.

You are welcome to send me a private message on this forum or you can find my email address at the top of most of the calibre source code files. However, given that I already work full time on calibre, I dont have a lot of time for other things.

Since, in your own words you say the "The details are confidential, so I won't be able to discuss anything on this thread," any further reason to keep this thread open defies any sane or logical reason to do so, since there will be nothing of benefit to our members where an atmosphere of educational sharing can occur.

Too, since the developer has advised you to contact him personally via email or PM, this lends an additional reason to close this thread.
