Library on a samba share

Hello there

My library is located on my nas and exported via samba. This has been working for years now without a single hick up.
After upgrading to Ubuntu 15.04 this no longer works and i get a "database read only error". It still works under older Ubuntu versions, still works in Windows.
I understand that the FAQ says its not recommended but i was hoping maybe anyone in here has run into a similar problem and may has a solution.

greetings

It seems to be very unpredictable. From reading other peoples' experiences, the only trend I can see is that people usually end up saying "but it used to work".

I usually offer the suggestion that you keep your main library on the HDD and use rsync to mirror it to the NAS.
