Hi,

Whenever I paste something in Sigil, I am asked if I want to paste it as plain text or as html.

Does Calibre Editor allow this too: pasting from webpage and pasting it as code directly in the editor?

No. You want to paste html, copy the html from the website by using view page source in your browser.

As the "check for error" tool in Calibre Editor is a real asset, I might dig into the source page and let your parser correct the fragment.
