Is there a safe way to setup read only sharing of library
I am wondering if there is any way to setup a library for read only access on my home network in a way that will not corrupt my library?

The others in my home could then browse the library to choose what they want to read.

Easy Peasy, anything with a Web Browser can access,.

do remember you need to add the Port# (selected) on the end in the address

Ahhh thank you. I have never used the Content Server and had thought, when reading about it, that it was a separate program.

I should have read more about it.

Also, if you are behind a router, you'll probably need to forward the chosen port to your computer, if you wish to access the library from outside the home network.
