Forced to turn the sleep function off.
Well, it took me this long but after finding a discharged reader twice I am forced to switch off the sleep function on my Kobo Aura One. Apparently the Kobo sleep cover sometimes lets the reader stay on or turn on while covered. This never happened with the H2O. Really disappointed with Kobo. They make a beautiful reader but because of quality control or design flaws you cannot take advantage of its features. I wish I could find a working third party sleep cover.

I have a kobo h20 and I have also recently turned off sleep cover.
It was both turning off while I was holding it (when the cover became aligned) and turning on while the cover was closed because it was loose. Since turning it off, the autosleep has done a better job of keeping the battery than the sleep cover. I may eventually switch to a third party sleep cover. However, the primary function of the cover for me is to protect against drops, and it has done that well. |
