Hello all! E-reader newbie here, just purchased my first reader (a Kobo Touch N905) last month but I have been perusing the MobileRead forums since I stumbled on it somewhere towards the end of February 2015. Can't tell you what a great find and resource this place has been. Great stuff.

For some strange reason, my first post was putting a placeholder in the Annual Reading Challenge thread of all things. Lol. Yeah. Gotta keep track of those book towers (paperless or otherwise).

I am loving the Kobo! I think the convenience of being able to hold a 1000page book in one hand totally bowled me over. And also - ebooks from my library's Overdrive section!

My TBR tower of physical books have been rather neglected of late.

My go to genre is science fiction/fantasy... but I enjoy diversity in my reading - non fic, contemporary, classics etc... in fact my most interesting read this year has been "Kirstin Lavransdatter" by Sigrid Undset.
