Can Amazon control Kual?

What does this bit of nonsense mean?

After I jailbroke my PW2 and synced it with my Amazon account. The second time I went to browse the bookstore something like this appeared I didn't pay much attention at the time but when I tried to open Kual this message appeared, anybody had a similar experience?
My kindle shipped with FW5.6.0.1 but I downgraded to 5.4.5.1 does that have anything to do with it?

The latest JailBreak/MKK should be more resilient, and a restart (or two, not quite sure of the timing in case of a factory reset) should put things to order.

Note that if you wiped the backup folders from the userstore, then you're not protected from a factory reset, only from account login/out. In which case, simply reinstall the latest JB (or bridge, which is potentially easier on FW versions that can't be jailbroken) and restart the device.

Everything, at least if you did the JB while running 5.6.0.1 before you installed the complete replacement of the file system image.

Which included such nice things as the JB and MKK.

As NiLuJe posted, the JB **should** have survived - but that manual downgrading of 5.6.x to 5.4.<whatever> followed by upgrading to 5.4.5.1 is not exactly a commonly tested for situation.

Just start over -
Install JB from NiLuJe's snapshots thread (which should also fix the missing MKK).

Check KUAL - it should be working again, if not, re-install it.

Install (or re-install) the Backdoor lock and lock it.

Since you mentioned "sync with Amazon" - you must have registered the device -
Check its registration, if you have to change its registration status, you may have to also re-install MKK (after each change).

Stay away from the "factory reset" function.

Make sure your health insurance covers self inflicted wounds to your foot (or feet in this case).
