Angry Calibre: convert Kindle to epub

Maybe this has been asked before, but I can't find. Sorry.
I converted to epub and it seems ok. I could open in iBooks on the Mac, everything's fine, then tried to open on an iPad, which didn't work. I synced with iTunes/iBooks but the epub could not be seen.
Any suggestions?

I have a Windows PC, not a Mac, so this iTunes information might not apply.

On my PC, iTunes stores the books for iBooks here:

C:\Users\Owner\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Books

Check to see if your Kindle>epub conversions are in the above "Books" folder. If not, manually add an epub to the "Books" folder and sync iTunes again to see if the epub gets copied to your iPad.

Did you tell iTunes to sync that particular book? It doesn't by default. When you have the iPad hooked up to your computer for syncing, look to make sure it's set up to sync books in general and that specific book in particular.

Thanks for your answers. I seem to be too impatient, but now the book is selectable in iTunes and is syncing in the end.
