Comanche Temptation by Sara Orwig is the 1st in her Comanche series of f/m historical multicultural western adventure romances set in Texas, featuring protagonists with full or mixed-blood heritage from the eponymous Native American people (Wikipedia), this installment starring a young woman with a crush on a cowboy who once intervened when she and her brother were being bullied about their mother's background who winds up in an arranged marriage with him, much to her disillusionment as it turns out that the reality of being wedded to him doesn't quite live up to her fantasies, and from there the age-old fake-marriage-turns-real plot (with some minor setbacks as her husband has to go on the run for crimes he didn't commit, as husbands-of-convenience tend to do) takes root, free courtesy of publisher Diversion Books, who are e-printing it from its 1996 Kensington Zebra paperback edition.
