Font not showing up on the page
I've included the font file like instructed in the documentation and also linked the stylesheet to the file but still no change in the font.

Two possibilities:
1) You've done something wrong
2) There's something wrong/incompatable with the font itself

Also 3) what Sigil documentation for embedding fonts are you referring to?

Without a sample (a non-copyright violating/font-license infringing sample) epub, it's going to be hard to diagnose the problem.

Examine the font (source) with the OS font viewer to be sure it is not a mislabled straight font.

Also look at the book with a Reader that does not use QT. IIRC there are italic font internals that do not play well with Sigil/Calibre book viewer


BTW All the Garramond I have are Copyrighted and need a license to include in a distributed work
