Synchronization Meta does not.
Hello.
Synchronization Meta does not.
On "Calibre" metadata is correct.
When I click to update, it seems to work correctly.
But when I look on the reader books metadata are not updated.

Sorry but I do not speak English.

@joreveur - editing the metadata does NOT update the book format files (EPUB, MOBI, PDF, DOCX etc), it updates the database.

If you want the new metadata written to the book format files in the library use the Embed Metadata tool. You may need to add it to the toolbars. Note: not all formats support all metadata fields, EPUB is best,

If you send a format file to a device or save it to disk it will be sent/saved with the updated metadata from the database - i.e. the Embed will be done on the sent/saved file - but your library remains untouched.

OP has a Sony, I believe those (like the Kobo) can be updated via the database, without needing to resend the books.

From memory, the code for the Sony drivers says it updates the title, author and a date or two. That should happen on connect if the "Metadata management" option on the "Sending to device" page of the preferences is set to automatic.
