Error when editing book

Hey guys,

So today I was editing my book with calibre and when I went to save it gave me this error.

calibre, version 2.21.0
ERROR: Failed to open book: Failed to open book, click Show details for more information.

Traceback (most recent call last):

File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/tweak_book/boss.py", line 53, in get_container

InvalidEpub: No META-INF/container.xml in epub

Now I can no longer access the data in the book. I edited about half the book so starting over is not a great option. Is there any way I can fix this?

Assuming that the book Did open before and is now damaged:

Was the book on a Network share / cloud or removable drive?
Did you open and re-save the book with another Archive Utility (Winzip...) before this happened? That file has special zippig rules
