Does this version have the new home screen widgets? If so, how do I turn the function on? Hoping they will resolve my dislike of Mantano's actions. Thanks.

So, my question now is: I opened a book in Mantano, got the home widget, but when I press on it, I get the question of what reader I want to open it in. I don't want to make any of my readers defaults as I open diff readers for different types of books. So, am I missing something, or will I always have to choose a reader when I press the shortcut?

Just as in CC itself, if you do not choose a default reader app for a format then CC will ask you when you "read" the book. CC does not remember the last choice you made for a particular book/format.
