Need your advice/Tablet-Reader purchase
Hi all, I need a big portable screen that I can walk around my house comfortably, with screen size greater or equal to 15in. I will use it primarily to read ebooks in various formats (epub, mobi, pdf, djvu). It must connect via wire or Wifi to my NAS where I store my ebooks. What would you recommend? Thanks

There aren't many things in that size category --- the Sony Tab 20, but I think it's discontinued....

13.3" is the largest I have seen and that is usually a 2-in-1 with a removable keyboard. If you insist on 15" I think you will need a laptop or Tablet PC.

Thanks everyone, this is what I found so far:
1) HP Spectrex360 2) Dell XPS 18 3) Panasonic Toughpad 4) Wacom Tablet All of these are really expensive to be used just as ebook readers, but it's the only option available right now over 13.3 inch Quote:

I believe the Wacom Tablet you referenced above is actually a USB input device, not a computer. As I mentioned in my post the others are not pure tablets. They are touch screen computers (often called Tablet PCs).

Maybe something like ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP500LN. Again, it is overkill as a ereader, but it would do what you want. I had a look at one on the weekend while buying a new laptop for my wife. It seemed reasonably well built and I'd consider one for myself if it had a full HD screen.

Lenovo Horizon 2 or 2s
Now there's tablets for you - 27" or 19,5". And think of the exercise you'll get lugging these around.
Well, in fact Lenovo calls this table PCs, not tablet PCs. tuskin |

The Wacom you want which can serve as a monitor is the Wacom Cintiq:
http://www.wacom.com/en-us/products/...s/cintiq-22-hd They've got a new companion / mobile version as well: http://cintiqcompanion.wacom.com/CintiqCompanion/en/ |

Thanks, Wacom's drawback is INtel's 3rd Gen CPU, not very power efficient, plus only 13.3" display, and even more of a factor, very expensive, as it is a tablet customized for graphic design.

Surface Pro 3 is 12". Not the 15+ " you were looking for, but a lot lighter than some of the other options you are looking at.
