Changing PIDS

I have a bunch of drm'd Mobipocket books and am now purchasing a new reader. This will of course mean that I must change the pids on the books previously read on the old device.

Anyone have any experience doing this? I am concerned about books like my Chambers Dictionary that was expensive and allows 3 pids all of which are currently assigned.

Don't want to turn this into a DRM debate as I am a bit tired of arguing about stuff I can do little about.

Go back to where you bought it, enter a new PID, and download it again.

You will have to remove one of the existing three devices from your account to add the new one. I think removing one device a month is allowed automatically (more than that requires approval). If you save the existing copies of the ebooks they will continue to work on the removed device, but new copies and new ebooks won't be authorized for the removed device.

Thats fine. I think that is reasonable and in the spirit of the agreement. I will remove the iliad from the list.
