Arabic displayed from left to right in web browsers
I have seen this problem in Kindle pw2 and all the other ereaders: Hanvon c18 and Sony dpt-s1: Arabic letters are disjointed and placed from left to right (while they should be joined and from right to left) in web browsers.
Is there anything that I can do about that? Thanks. |

No, the software on the device has to support it, and it is harder to do than you might think.

Thx but I don't see this problem in pdfs though, so I assumed it's a configuration issue only.

PDFs are images of pages. That's why they work.

PDFs are sometimes images of pages. AZW3 (unlike MOBI) will actually support text-based RTL writing (not images
![]() The browser on my Kindle Touch handles hebrew (another RTL language ![]() So theoretically it should work. At least on the Kindles, since mine is older and works. ![]() |
