Preview revised ed., buy the 1st ed.?
1. Previewed David Javerbaum's book "The Last Testament" on my Arc7HD. Cover says it is revised and expanded. Opening chapter in the preview was 100 of "God"'s best tweets.
2. Bought it, downloaded the ADOBE DRM EPUB from the kobobooks website, and it is the "1st Simon & Schuster hardcover ed." No tweets. Different cover from the Kobo webpage. 3. Synced TLT to Kobo Desktop. 1st edition was synced down. Cover image in library was for the revised edition. 4. Ran graphical Calibre plugin for OBOK. Still 1st edition (obviously), but now the cover images matched the 1st ed. "between the covers". Sooo... if I want to continue to read the 100 tweets (I still haven't finished them) I've got to keep my Arc7HD from going online. Logged a ticket w Kobo support. FYI. |
