Dear all,
I bought the Onyx Boox Max 2 almost 2 weeks ago, and though I really like the product in general terms, I am a bit concerned about an issue I have experienced with the device, which reboots several times (~2-5) a day, often when highlighting or changing pages. I would like to know if this happens to other users too or if it's a problem specific to my device, so please let me know ![]() Last edited by Multiversalist; 02-25-2018 at 02:13 PM. |

If updating firmware doesn't help and it's independent from pdf used could be hardware problem. |

Yesterday I experienced a reboot but it wasn't during highlighting or changing a page.
I haven't noticed much spontaneous rebooting so far -- possibly it's been less here than with the original Max. |

`adb bugreport` may contain information - but as you know, somewhere in the hefty bulk, and that `cat /proc/last_kmsg` should give the info about the crash. About the latter, check: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...r-kernel-panic |

You could try a factory reset and different firmwares. Assess whether it is a hardware problem that way. Once it's set, you can release the worry or be grateful for the Gift of the Warranty.
