Be Mine by Brenda Ponnay is another holiday-themed illustrated children's picture book for younger readers in her Little Hoo series starring the eponymous owl and his forest friends, free courtesy of publisher Xist, who've previously given us a Hallowe'en and a Thanksgiving installment, one of which was a B&N Free Fridays selection last year, so if you/your kids liked those, then you'll probably want to pick this one up too.

Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK). May also show up later @ B&N (maybe also UK), as the last two freebies in this series made it to one store after they had expired in the other, so perhaps we get a hat trick of these things.

NB: the Kindle version will require a compatible level of device/app (Kindle Cloud Reader will do, but K4PC/Mac won't) since it's got "full-color, full-screen images with Kindle tap-to-zoom text", according to the blurb.
